| The St Patrick's Day Charity Ball & Auction was first established in 1999 by a committee of dedicated individuals comprising of patients, staff, parents and friends of the hospital. Recently the name has changed to the Emerald Ball. The primary purpose of the event was to raise much needed funds for new treatments for children with Cerebral Palsy.
